Earlier today, Xiaomi Malaysia has officially confirmed that the company will announcing the much awaited budget-centric Redmi 9A and 9C smartphones on June 30th.
Right now, we’d managed to get the official renders of the Redmi 9A which revealed the device in 3 different colorways including Midnight Grey, Twilight Blue, as well as Peacock Green.
As seen in the renders, the Redmi 9A will feature a 6.53-inches dewdrop-notch display which will boast a HD+ screen resolution. The front facing-camera is expected to be a 5 megapixels selfie camera.
Over on its rear, the device has a pill-shape housing affixed to the top-left corner which play host to a single 13 megapixels camera alongside a LED flash.
Under the hood, the device is fueled by the brand new MediaTek’s budget SoC known as Helio G25 assisted by 3GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage in the memory compartment. As usual, this device is also able to support microSD card for memory expansion and features the same 5,000mAh battery.
In the European market, the Redmi 9A is speculated to be priced between EUR100 (US$111) to EUR120 (US$134). However, the device will probably be priced lower among the Asian markets.
