Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition in Exynos Version Spotted at Geekbench

Recent reports have revealed Samsung is working on the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition. The device is expected to succeed the Galaxy S10 Lite phone that debuted at the beginning of this year. The S20 Fan Edition that will be arriving as a budget-friendly version of the Galaxy S20 series is said to be fueled by the Snapdragon 865 Plus SoC. An Exynos variant of the phone has been spotted on Geekbench. This indicates that the phone could be arriving in Snapdragon and Exynos CPU versions for different markets.

The Geekbench listing reveals that the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition that has a model number of SM-G780F is powered by Exynos 990 chipset. The SoC is coupled with 8 GB of RAM and it runs on Android 10 OS.

In the single-core test of Geekbench 5, the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition has scored 588 points and it recorded a score of 2448 points in the multi-core test. A tipster is of the view that it could be the Exynos 990 edition of the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition could be heading to India.

Earlier this month, popular tipster Evan Blass had shared a render of the frontside of the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition. Rumors have it that the screen offers 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is also expected to arrive in 6 GB RAM. It may come with 128 GB of native storage.

The backside of the phone has a 12-megapixel Sony IMX555+ 12-megapixe (ultrawide) + 8-megapixel (telephoto) triple camera system. It may come with a 32-megapixel front camera. The device has a 4,500mAh battery. It may come in colors like red, white, green, and orange.
