Here’s the Samsung Galaxy A42 5G in all three colorways

Last month, Samsung strengthened their 5G portfolio by announcing a new 5G mid-ranger known as the Galaxy A42 5G. However, some of the crucial details pertaining to the device, including its underlying chipset and availability were not revealed by the company.

Shortly after its announcement, the Galaxy A42 5G was spotted on Geekbench where it was revealed that the device is actually powered by the latest Snapdragon 750G chipset.

Right now, Samsung has also published the official renders of the Galaxy A42 5G in two other color variants – White and Gray – aside from the Black variant we’d saw previously. As usual, these color variants also come with a quad-tone finish at the back that differentiate them from other A-series smartphones.

As a quick recap, the Samsung Galaxy A42 5G features a 6.6-inches Infinity-U Super AMOLED display with FHD+ screen resolution as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner.

At the back, it comes with a quad camera system comprising of a 48 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide, 5 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 5 megapixels depth sensor. This will be rounded up by a 20 megapixels selfie shooter at the front.

To keep its lights on, it draws power from a massive 5,000mAh battery with fast-charging support. The device will be priced at 369 Euros (US$431) in the European market according to a recent press release published by Samsung Germany.
