Xiaomi announced the Xiaomi Mi 11 flagship phone by the end of December 2020. Rumors have it that the company may unveil the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro 5G later this month. In the global markets, the Chinese firm is expected to launch the Xiaomi Mi 11 as well as a new 4G phone called Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite in the next few weeks. A new leak has suggested the existence of a 5G variant of the Mi 11 Lite. It has revealed that it could be featuring Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 7-series SoC.
According to a known Chinese tipster, an upcoming mid-range phone from Xiaomi will be coming with an unannounced Qualcomm chipset that has a model number of sm7350. This SoC is believed to debut as with Snapdragon 775G moniker. It is expected to arrive as the successor to the Snapdragon 765G chipset from 2019.
Rumors surrounding the Snapdragon 775G have revealed that could be built with 5nm processing technology and it could be equipped with one powerful Cortex-A78 core. Last year, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G with Snapdragon 765G onboard. Hence, it is likely that its successor edition could be arriving with a rumored SD775G chip.
The new leak claims that the alleged Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite has an OLED panel with punch-hole design. It does not mention how many cameras will be present on the back panel of the phone. However, it claims that the it will be fitted with main camera of 64-megapixel. The leak also mentions that it will carry support for 5x zoom.
There is no word on the launch date of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G. Since the Mi 10 Lite 5G went official in March 2020, it appears that the Mi 11 Lite 5G may go official in Q1 2021.
