Samsung announced the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra back in February last year. In the second half of 2020, the company introduced the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition that offered many of the premium features of the S20 series at an affordable price. A fresh report by Sammobile states that the South Korean company could be working on the Galaxy S21 Fan Edition.
The publication claimed that it has learned through its sources that a new Samsung phone with model number SM-G990B eventually release in the market as the Galaxy S21 Fan Edition. The LTE version of the Galaxy S20 FE has SM-G780F model number, whereas its 5G variant has SM-G781B model number. It seems that the newly spotted SM-G90 model number may belong to the LTE version of the forthcoming Galaxy S21 Fan Edition.
Like the predecessor model, the Galaxy S21F FE may borrow some of its specs from the existing Galaxy S21 phones. The publication has shared only a few pieces of information on the specs of the S21 FE. It revealed that it will come in 128 GB and 256 GB storage choices, Android 11 OS and there will be a 5G version. It is expected to arrive in multiple colors like gray/silver, pink, violet, and white.
The Galaxy S20 FE comes with a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 865 / Exynos 990 SoC fuels the device with LPPDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
