Today, Nubia President Ni Fei confirmed through a Weibo post that the company will be announcing the Nubia Z30 series of smartphones on May 20 in China. In his Weibo post, he specifically mentioned the Nubia Z30 Pro handset. Hence, it is likely that the brand may launch two phones such as the Nubia Z30 and Nubia Z30 Pro on the said date.
Fei said that Nubia has always been known for offering impressive photography features on its smartphones. He claimed that it is the industry’s first brand to launch a camera phone with SLR functions. The Z30 series will also offer professional photography experience and it is expected to specialize in shooting the starry sky.
Nubia is yet to reveal the features of the forthcoming Z30 series of smartphones. Leaked images of the Z30 phone have revealed that it could be coming with support for 100x digital zoom. It is expected to arrive with a quad-camera system, but the exact details of its cameras are not known yet.
The Nubia Z30’s leaked render also revealed that it has a curved-edge display that offers a full-screen experience. It might be featuring an in-screen camera as there is no notch or punch-hole cutout on the screen. It is advisable to wait for official teasers to know accurate information on the Nubia Z30 phones.
Recently, a new Nubia phone with an NX667J model number was spotted at the 3C certification site of China. The listing revealed that it supports 5G connectivity and it may come with a 120W rapid charger.
