China Mobile has confirmed that the company will be launching a series of smartphone under the new NZone S7 branding on June 22nd next week. Interestingly, rumors out of China appear adamant that the NZone S7 series smartphones are rebranded models of the Huawei Nova 9 series.
This actually sounds probable to some extend since Huawei’s Enjoy series smartphones had been sold by China Unicom under it’s own U-Magic branding, while the Maimang series phone were being sold exclusively by China Telecom in it’s home market.
Besides revealing the launch date of the upcoming NZone 7 series smartphones, China Mobile also confirmed that the phone will be arriving with specs like 90Hz front display, MediaTek Dimensity 720 chipset, 64MP triple rear cameras, as well as 40W fast-charging support.
At the moment, it remains to be seen whether the NZone 7 series smartphones will be shipped with Huawei’s HarmonyOS out of the box.
