After launching the iQOO Z5 5G last month, iQOO is now back with a slightly more affordable model known as the iQOO Z5x in the Chinese market where the phone carries an affordable starting price of just 1,599 Yuan (US$250).
The iQOO Z5x builds around a 6.58” LCD display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution topped with a fast 120Hz refresh rate for a smooth graphical experience. It also has an 8 megapixels front-facing camera that handles selfie and video calls.
On the flipside, the phone flaunts a rectangular camera island which is home to a dual-cam setup comprising of a 50 megapixels main camera as well as a 2 megapixels macro unit for close-up shots.
The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset at the helm, along with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB built-in storage in the memory department. The phone however, doesn’t support microSD card for storage expansion.
To keep it’s lights on, the iQOO Z5x is fitted with a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast wired charging that’s capable of charging a flat battery up to 58% in just 30 minutes. Software-side, it’ll be shipped with OriginOS 1.0 based on Android 11 out of the box.
In the Chinese market, the iQOO Z5x is priced at 1,599 Yuan (US$250), 1,699 Yuan (US$266) and 1,899 Yuan (US$297) respectively for it’s 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants.
