Samsung Galaxy A13 5G goes official with MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset & 5,000mAh battery

Samsung has officially announced a new entry-level smartphone known as the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G in the U.S. market where the phone carries an affordable launch price of just US$249.99, making it the cheapest 5G model launched by the company.

For starter, the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G builds around a 6.5” IPS LCD display that offers a HD+ screen resolution, 90Haz refresh rate, as well as a 5 megapixels selfie camera that’s housed within a V-shaped notch.

On the rear side of the phone, it comes with three different cameras including a 50 megapixels main camera alongside a pair of 2 megapixels camera for macro and depth information.

Under the hood, the Galaxy A13 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.

Moving on, the phone is fitted with a respectable 5,000mAh battery which carries support for 15W fast-charging. Other than that, it also features a 3.5mm headphone jack, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and is shipped with Android 11 out of the box.
