Vivo V23 Series Design Revealed in Commercial

The rumor mill has been leaking information on the upcoming Vivo V23 and Vivo V23 Pro smartphones in bits and pieces. The V23 duo is expected to launch in multiple Asian markets.

While there is no confirmation from Vivo, leaks have claimed that it may launch on Jan. 5 in India. Fresh information reveals that a commercial of the V23 5G series was shown during a recent Pro Kabbadi League match, which was aired on Star Sports.

The teaser video began by showing the Vivo V23 series in an attractive Sunshine Gold color. It further revealed that it will be sporting a curved edge display and an ultra-slim chassis. Lastly, the ad reveals that the smartphone features a wider notch that houses a pair of selfie cameras, and it is equipped with a 64-megapixel triple camera unit.

The overall design of the Vivo V23 series appears to be similar to the Vivo S12 Pro smartphone, which debuted recently in China. Some images released by another tipster Paras Guglani shows that it is equipped with specs like the Dimensity 1200 chipset, 8 GB of RAM, 4 GB of virtual RAM, and 5G connectivity. Probably, the V23 Pro will be a toned-down version of the S12 Pro.

The Vivo S12 Pro has a 6.44-inch AMOLED FHD+ 90Hz display, 50-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) dual selfie camera system, and a 108-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit.

The Dimensity 1200 chipset powers the device with up to 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256 GB of native storage. It has a 4,300mAh battery that supports 44W rapid charging. It has a starting price of 3,399 Yuan ($534). At present, there is no word on the pricing of the V23 series for India.
