Red Magic 7 will be made official on Feb. 17 in China. Today, its global wing confirmed that the brand will be holding a dedicated launch event for international markets at 7 PM EST on Feb. 22. The official landing page of the Red Magic 7 confirms that it will come equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform.
The Red Magic 7 lineup is said to include two devices such as Red Magic 7 and Red Magic 7 Pro. Hopefully, both devices will get announced through the upcoming launch events. The Chinese division of the brand has confirmed a lot of features of the Red Magic 7. In addition, it has also appeared on the TENAA certification platform with all its specifications.
The Red Magic 7 will come equipped with a dedicated gaming chip called Red Core 1 for a better experience will using shoulder gaming buttons, haptics, speakers, and RGB lighting. While the Red Magic 7 and 7 Pro were spotted at the 3C certification site of China with a 165W fast charger, the charging capabilities of these phones will not exceed 135W.
The Red Magic 7’s TENAA certification revealed that it will come with a 6.8-inch OLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The device is likely to carry support for a 165Hz refresh rate. While there is no word on the front camera of the Red Magic 7, it is likely to arrive with a rear-facing 64-megapixel triple camera unit.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powered gaming phone is likely to arrive with up 18 GB of RAM. It may come with up to 512 GB of internal storage. The device may come with a 5,000mAh battery.
