After launching the Tecno Camon 19 Neo smartphone in the Bangladeshi market last week, Chinese electronic giant is now back with a new Camon 19 series smartphone known as the Camon 19 Pro which is presumably the most powerful device in the newly inducted smartphone series.
The new Tecno Camon 19 Pro builds around a fairly large 6.8” IPS LCD display offering a FHD+ screen resolution topped with a super smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Other than that, there’s also a 32 megapixels front-facing camera affixed to a centered punch-hole camera cutout.
Over on the flipside, the Camon 19 Pro features a diamond-inspired aesthetic which closely resembles the Diamond Spectrum design that we saw among OPPO’s Reno series smartphones. To accommodate it’s rear cameras, the phone has opted for a pair of circular camera rings which houses a total of three cameras.
These cameras include the brand new 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GWB sensor as the main camera, a 50 megapixels telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom capability, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensing unit. The adoption of the new ISOCELL GWB is said to improve low-light photography due to it’s ability to take in 30% more light thanks to the RGBW filter.
Coming to it’s internals, the Tecno Camon 19 Pro is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G96 chipset which will be paired with 8GB RAM as well as a hefty 256GB storage capacity which can still be further expanded via a microSD card. Keeping it’s lights on is none other than a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from two different colorways such as Eco Black or Polar Blue. While the company has yet to announce the global pricing of the new Camon 19 Pro, but we do know that the phone will command a launch price of KES24,499 ($210) in the Kenyan market.
