Earlier this week, Vivo announced the brand new V25 series smartphones in the global market which comprises of two different models such as the Vivo V25 and V25 Pro. Today, the company has added a third model to the lineup dubbed as the Vivo V25e in the Malaysian market which shapes up to be the most affordable model in within the new series.
Starting with the front side, the Vivo V25e features a 6.44” AMOLED display with FHD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, as well as a capable 32MP front-facing camera to help with selfies and video calls. Just like the vanilla model, it sticks with a waterdrop display flanked by slim bezels along the two sides.
Over at the back, the phone comes with a similar-looking, square-shaped camera module which houses a trio of cameras including a 64 megapixels main camera as well as a pair of 2 megapixels cameras for macro and depth information.
Under the hood, the Vivo V25e is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 chipset which will be paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage in the memory department. Connectivity-wise, this will be a 4G-only model unlike the V25 and V25 Pro which supports the next-generation’s 5G network.
To keep it’s lights on, the Vivo V25e is backed by a respectable 4,500mAh battery which carries support for 44W fast wired charging. As usual, it’ll be shipped with FuntouchOS 12 based on Android 12 OS out of the box.
The phone will be offered in two different colors known as Diamond Black and Sunrise Gold. Those who’re interested can purchase the phone at just RM1,399 ($312) for the 8GB+256GB trim in the Malaysian market.
