Honor 80, 80 Pro, and 80 Pro+ Key Specifications Tipped

Honor is reportedly working on the Honor 80 series of smartphones. Earlier this month, tipster Digital Chat Station leaked the key specifications of the alleged Honor 80 Pro+. Now the tipster has returned with some vital information on the Honor 80 and 80 Pro devices.

In the below-shown screenshot, DCS can be seen talking about the key specifications of Honor’s upcoming smartphones. He seems to have leaked the specifications of the Honor 80 series, which is likely to go official in November or December this year in China.

It appears that the Honor 80 will come equipped with the Dimensity 1080 chipset and a 64-megapixel primary camera. The device is likely to carry support for 66W fast charging.

The Honor 80 Pro is likely to arrive with the Snapdragon 778G chipset onboard. It will have a 108-megapixel main camera. Like the Honor 70 Pro, the Honor 80 Pro may also support 100W charging.

The Honor 80 Pro+ is expected to arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. It will be Honor’s first phone to feature a 200-megapixel camera. The handset is also expected to support 100W charging.

A previous report revealed that the Honor 80 Pro+ will feature a curved edge OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution. The device will be equipped with 12 GB of RAM. At present, there is no information on the battery and auxiliary cameras of the Honor 80 Pro+.

In related news, after the Honor 80 series, the company is likely to unveil the Magic V2 foldable phone featuring the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset in December in China. Honor is also tipped to be working on the Magic 5 series powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The lineup may include Magic 5 and Magic 5 Pro handsets. The company is expected to announce the Magic 5 series in March or April 2023.
