After launching the HTC Wildfire E smartphone back in March this year, HTC is now back with a new model dubbed as the Wildfire E Plus that comes with a different design along with some changes to it’s underlying specs sheet.
The new HTC Wildfire E Plus arrives with a 6.5” LCD display featuring a HD+ screen resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. For selfies and video calls, it also has a 5 megapixels front-facing camera that sits within a waterdrop-notch.
Over on the rear side, the phone has a dual-cam system comprising of a 13 megapixels main camera as well as a 5 megapixels macro camera to help with close-up photography. This time round, the phone adopts a side-mounted fingerprint scanner instead of a rear-facing one.
Under the hood, the HTC Wildfire E Plus is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6739 chipset which will be paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage that’s further expandable via a microSD card.
Keeping it’s lights on is a respectable 5,150mAh battery which carries support for 10W wired charging. Like any other entry-level smartphone, it’ll be shipped with Android 12 Go Edition out of the box.
For those who’re interested, the HTC Wildfire E Plus is available in a single Black color option and is priced at 7,990 RUB ($130) in the Russian market.
