The OnePlus 11R is the other flagship that will be unveiled alongside the OnePlus 11 5G through the global launch event, which is slated to take place on Feb. 7. While the OP11 will be a flagship phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, the OP11R will be equipped with a slightly inferior Snapdragon 8-series chipset, as per the reports. A new leak courtesy of Mukul Sharma has revealed the variants and color options of the 11R handset.
According to the tipster, the OnePlus 11R 5G could be available in shades, such as Galactic Silver and Grey. It appears that the base model of the phone will offer 8 GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The source added that 12GB RAM and 16GB RAM variants may also be available at launch.
Recent rumours have suggested that the OnePlus 11R 5G may feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,412 pixel) resolution. It might utilise an underclocked edition of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, which was first seen under the hood of the China-exclusive OPPO Reno 9 Pro+ 5G.
The smartphone is rumoured to feature an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel triple rear camera system and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. It could also include a 5,000mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC fast charging support.
The OnePlus 11R 5G will run on the Android 13 OS with the ColorOS 13 UI on top. For security, it will feature an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The device is also expected to arrive with an alert slider and an IR blaster. Multiple reports have claimed that OnePlus Ace 2 heading to the Chinese market is a rebranded version of the OnePlus 11R.
