OnePlus 12 real-life images, and display specifications leaked

The OnePlus 12 is set to go official on Dec. 5 in China. Ahead of the launch, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has leaked the real-life images of the OnePlus 12, along with detailed specifications. Continue reading to learn the details that have been revealed by the tipster.

The leaked images show that the OnePlus 12 will have an OLED screen with curved edges. According to the tipster, the OnePlus 12 will reportedly feature a 6.82-inch OLED BOE X1 screen, offering a resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels. Notably, it incorporates LTPO technology for a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and features 2160Hz PWM dimming.

The display achieves a peak brightness of 4500 nits, with a globally measured brightness of 1722 nits and a pixel density of 550ppi. Additionally, it employs a blue diamond arrangement, maintains an average Just Noticeable Color Difference (JNCD) value of 0.35, and introduces the OPPO Display P1 chip. Impressively, the display has received a DisplayMate A+ rating for its 2K screen.

The OnePlus 12 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, up to 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It will arrive with a 5,400mAh battery with 100W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

For photography, the OP12 will reportedly arrive with a 32-megapixel front-facing camera, and its rear side is confirmed to feature a 50-megapixel LYT-900 (primary) + 48-megapixel (IMX581 ultra-wide) + 64-megapixel (OV64B periscope telephoto) triple camera unit.

As per reports, the OnePlus 12 will launch on Jan. 23 in the global market with the launch event likely to be held on Jan. 23. Apart from the OP12, the brand is expected to announce the OnePlus 12R and the OnePlus Buds 3 Pro TWS earbuds.
