Honor has confirmed that it will hold a launch event on Oct. 16 in China to unveil the Honor X60 series of smartphones. The first teasers released by the brand suggest that the X60 will focus on areas like performance and durability like the X50 lineup from last year.
According to Honor, since its launch, the Honor X50 series has become the choice of millions in China, with sales successfully surpassing 15 million units. On average, one unit is sold every 2.7 seconds, and if stacked, the total height would exceed that of 13 Mount Everests.
Honor is yet to reveal the key specifications of the Honor X60 series. Reports suggest that the lineup may comprise three models, such as the Honor X60, X60 Pro, and X60 GT. While the upcoming launch event may see the arrival of the X60 and X60 Pro, the GT variant may break cover a bit later.

The above-leaked images (via. Gizmochina) that have emerged on Weibo have revealed that the Honor X60 will arrive with a 6.8-inch AMOLED panel that offers an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will feature the Dimensity 7025 chipset and a 5,800mAh battery with 35W fast charging.
The handset is expected to arrive with 12 GB of RAM, 12 GB of virtual RAM, and 256 GB of native storage. The phone will run on Android 14 with a layer of Magic OS 8.0 on top.
On the front, the X60 will feature an 8-megapixel camera. Its rear camera setup will have a 108-megapixel primary snapper. At present, there is no information available about the phone’s auxiliary cameras.
