Vivo recently confirmed the Vivo S20 series of smartphones on Nov. 28 in China. The lineup will include at least two models, such as the Vivo S20 and S20 Pro. Today, Jia Jingdong, the Vice President of Vivo Brand and General Manager of Brand and Product Strategy, shared the following images and confirmed key details of the S20 lineup.
Vivo S20 series key specifications
The purple phone in the above images is the Vivo S20 Pro, while the beige variant is the Vivo S20. The S20 Pro boasts a triple camera setup, which includes a periscope telephoto camera. On the other hand, the S20 has a dual-camera setup on the back.
The BOE Q10 OLED panel with a curved-edge design will equip the Vivo S20 and S20 Pro. The Pro model is confirmed to feature a Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset.
The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip and a 6,500mAh battery with 90W rapid charging will power the Vivo S20, according to reports. The phone measures 7.19mm and weighs 180 grams.
Both phones are confirmed to feature a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support. The camera module of the S20 Pro has a periscope telephoto camera for optical zoom. Rumor has it that the Pro variant will feature a 5,500mAh battery with 90W rapid charging.
Simultaneously, the sibling brand iQOO is developing the iQOO Neo 10 series, set for launch in China on Nov. 29. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset will power the Neo 10, while the Dimensity 9400 SoC will power the Neo 10 Pro.
