Redmi is scheduled to launch the Redmi K80 series on Nov. 27 in China. The series includes two models, namely the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro. Yesterday, an official poster surfaced on Weibo to give the first look at the K80 series’ rear design. Now, new images of the K80 and K80 Pro have emerged to showcase the design and color options.
Redmi K80 series design revealed
The above images show the rear design of the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro. While they have a similar appearance, the Redmi K80 features one fewer camera compared to the rear triple-camera setup on the Pro model. Both phones have a dual-tone finish with a round-camera module at the top-left corner. A horizontal LED flash on the right side of the circular camera module.
The Redmi K80 and K80 are expected to feature a flat OLED panel on the front. However, the brand is yet to showcase the series’ front design. Here is a look at the rumored specs of the K80 lineup.

Reports have revealed that the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro will feature a 6.67-inch OLED display, offering a 2K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. For selfies, both models will have a 20-megapixel front-facing camera. The Redmi K80 will include a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. In comparison, the K80 Pro will sport the same primary camera, but with an upgraded 32-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera offering 2.6x optical zoom. Both phones will run on HyperOS 2 based on Android 15.
Powering the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro are the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8 Elite chipsets, respectively. The K80 will come with a 6,500mAh battery supporting 90W rapid charging, while the K80 Pro will have a 6,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging capabilities. For durability, the K80 series will feature a metal middle frame and an IP68-rated chassis, ensuring robust protection.
