Realme has confirmed that it will launch the Realme C83 5G on March 7 in India. This is an entry-level 5G smartphone arriving as a successor to last year’s Realme C73 5G. The phone’s landing page, which is now live on Flipkart, has disclosed several important features ahead of the official announcement, giving a clearer idea of what buyers can expect from the upcoming device.

The Realme C83 5G is confirmed to feature a 144Hz refresh rate display, which is quite uncommon in the budget 5G segment. However, the brand has not yet revealed the screen size or whether it supports HD+ or FHD+ resolution. From the images shared on the microsite, the device appears to include a side-facing fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button.
One of the biggest highlights of the C83 5G is its 7,000mAh battery. Realme claims it can deliver up to 15.6 hours of gaming, 27.7 hours of video playback, 58.5 hours of calling time, and as much as 890 hours of standby. The company also states that the battery is designed to maintain its health for up to six years. The device will support reverse charging as well as bypass charging.
In terms of durability, the smartphone is confirmed to come with MIL-STD-810H grade shock resistance along with an IP64 rating for dust and water protection. The brand has also revealed two color options: Blooming Purple and Sprouting Green.
Realme C83 5G price rumors
According to a recent report from Xpert Pick, the Realme C83 5G may arrive in three variants: 4GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB, and 6GB+128GB. These configurations are rumored to be priced at Rs 13,499 (~$150), Rs 14,499 ($160), and Rs 17,999 ($200), respectively.
