Recent reports have revealed that the upcoming Redmi Note 9 5G series for China will include at least two devices that have M2007J17C and M2007J22C model numbers. Since the official names of these products are not known, the M200717C could be arriving in market as Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G and the M2002J22C could be debuting as Redmi Note 9 5G. Both phones have appeared in the database of China’s TENAA telecom authority with its images and specs.
Alleged Redmi Note 9 5G and Note 9 Pro 5G Specifications
The Redmi Note 9 5G has 161.96 x 77.25 x 9.2mm measurements and it weighs 200 grams, whereas the Note 9 Pro 5G has 165.4 x 76.8 x 9mm dimensions and it weighs 214.5 grams. These phones are expected to arrive in color variants like black, red, blue, pink, white, green, purple, and gray. They are equipped with 6.53-inch and 6.6.7-inch IPS LCD displays, respectively. The 20:9 aspect ratio displays support Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Both phones have side-facing fingerprint sensors.
The Note 9 5G is powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core processor, while the Note 9 Pro 5G has a 2.4GHz octa-core processor. Based on recent reports, it can be powered by Dimensity 800U and Snapdragon 750G chipsets, respectively. The former is expected to come in RAM choices like 4 GB, 6 GB, and 8 GB, while the latter has RAM variants like 6 GB, 8 GB, and 12 GB. Both phones are expected to arrive in storage options like 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB.
The Android 10 OS comes preinstalled on the Note 9 5G and Note 9 Pro 5G. The former has a 5,000mAh battery (4,900mAh rated value) and the latter has a 4,820mAh battery (4,720mAh rated value). Their 3C listings have revealed that these phones could be coming with 22.5W and 33W fast charging support, respectively.
In terms of selfie cameras, the Note 9 5G has a 16-megapixel front camera whereas the Note 9 Pro 5G has a 13-megapixel selfie snapper. On the rear, the Note 9 5G has a 48-megapixel triple camera system whereas the Note 9 Pro 5G has a 108-mgeapixel quad-camera system. The specs of the Note 9 Pro suggest that it’s a rebadged Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite with a different main camera.
