Redmi Note 9 5G Highest-end Model to Feature 120Hz Refresh Rate Display

Redmi is expected to launch the Redmi Note 9 5G series of smartphones in China soon. The series will be packed with different specs compared to the Note 9 models that arrived in the global market. A Chinese tipster has shared the key details of the display of the Redmi Note 9’s high version.

The Redmi Note 9 is likely to arrive in a standard version and a high version. The new leak states that the latter will be equipped with an LCD panel that will carry support for an adaptive refresh rate. He claimed that it is driven by a battery of around 4,800mAh capacity.

Redmi Note 9 high version display details

Regarding the display of the phone, a screenshot shared by the tipster has revealed some more details about it. It will be equipped with a 2.5D DotDisplay punch-hole display of 6.67 inches. The screen supports an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 30Hz to 120Hz. The screen supports 1500:1 contrast ratio, 450niths brightness, and it is protected by Gorilla Glass 5.

The tipster has actually shared a screengrab of Mi 10T Lite’s display. There are rumors that the highest version of an upcoming Redmi Note series phone will be a rebranded version of the Mi 10T Lite with some tweaks. Hence, it appears that the Redmi Note 9 high version will be a rebranded Mi 10T Lite. Based on recent reports, it can be said that the phone will be sporting a 108-megapixel main camera.

The tipster seems to be talking about the M2007J17C phone that was recently approved by the 3C authority. The listing revealed that it could be coming with support for 33W fast charging.
