In China, Xiaomi became the first brand to announce the first Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 phone. It appears that smartphone OEMs are gunning to launch the first SD8+G1 phone in India. It seems that the iQOO 9T will be the first device to arrive with the latest Qualcomm chip in the country.

The reason behind it is that iQOO has confirmed the arrival of the iQOO 9T in India. Apart from confirming the moniker of the device, the Chinese manufacturer has also revealed its rear design. It appears that the iQOO 10, which is scheduled to debut on July 19 in China, may get rebadged as the iQOO 9T in India.

Rumors have it that the iQOO 9T will debut by the end of this month in India. It will be the fourth iQOO 9-branded phone to be released in India after the iQOO 9 SE, iQOO 9, and iQOO 9 Pro, which debuted in the first half of this year.

iQOO 9T Specifications (Rumored)

The iQOO 9T will come with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that delivers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 powered device will pack a 4,700mAh battery. It will be equipped with support for 120W fast charging. The device will arrive in 8 GB and 12 GB RAM variants. Both models will be equipped with 256 GB of built-in storage.

The device will run on the Android 12 OS with the iQOO UI on top. It will arrive with a 16-megapixel camera, and a 50-megapixel (Samsung GN5, main) + 13-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 12-megapixel (telephoto) triple camera unit. It will come with an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
