ASUS ZenFone 4 Max Mid-Range Phone with Dual Rear Cameras, 5,000mAh Battery is Official

ASUS has finally introduced its first ZenFone 4 series smartphone, the ZenFone 4 Max ZC554KL. It arrives as a successor phone for the ZenFone 3 Max. The ZenFone 4 Max it is either powered by Snapdragon 425 or Snapdragon 430 depending on the market it releases. It is a dual SIM phone that comes in multiple storage options such as 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB.

It features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD screen that produces a full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. A fingerprint scanner is placed below the display. It features a pair of 13-megapixel cameras on its rear side out of which the first camera is a regular one whereas the second one is a wide-angle lens. With Super Resolution mode, it can capture images of 64-megapixel resolution. The front side features an 8-megapixel selfie snapper.

The phone is running on Android 7.0 Nougat that is overlaid with ZenUI. Other features of the phone include 3.5mm audio jack, microUSB port with USB OTG support. Lastly, the ASUS ZenFone 4 Max features a 5,000mAh mammoth battery that takes around 4 hours to charge completely. However, by charging the phone for 15 minutes, it can deliver up to 3 hours of talktime.  Currently, the phone has been only announced in Russia where it costs RUB 13,900 (~$233) for the ZenFone 4 Max model featuring Snapdragon 425, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB native storage.
