Huawei has previously revealed that the company will be rolling out the feverishly-anticipated EMUI 10 update to both the Huawei P30 and Mate 20 series.
To keep up with their promise, Huawei has officially kicked off their recruitment program for the EMUI 10’s internal beta testing. However, the first round of beta testing is applicable only for the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro.
As for other smartphones including Huawei Mate 20, Mate 20 X, Mate 20 RS and Mate 20 Pro, Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro, Honor V20 and Honor Magic 2, their beta testing program will be scheduled at a later date which has yet been revealed by Huawei.
What exactly is the EMUI 10 internal beta testing program?
Huawei’s internal beta testing program essentially allows users to have the first-hand experience of the unreleased EMUI 10 updates and in turn provide useful feedback to the developers such as bug reporting.
This is crucial to the overall user experience as it will help to ensure that the official update being rolled out is bug-free and able to run smoothly on the device.
From what we’d learned over at the community forum, the company will be recruiting 2,000 participants each for the P30 and P30 Pro. Sad to say, the beta testing program is limited to the Chinese users as of now.
What can we expect from the EMUI 10?
As a quick summary, some of the key features which will arrive with EMUI 10 include a refreshed user interface, an exhilarating dark mode, snappier performance, multi-screen collaboration, Huawei’s HiCar and many more.
