Huawei has confirmed via their own Pollen Club forum that the EMUI 10 public beta is now officially opened to the Huawei Nova 5 Pro, Mate 10 series, P20 series, Mate RS, as well as Honor 8X.
Currently, the public beta for the aforementioned smartphones are available only to the Chinese variants, but we do expect it to be made available for the global variants soon as well.
If everything went well during the open beta, then we can expect the stable update to be rolled out as early as Q1 2020, starting with the Chinese market.
Last month, Huawei has rolled out the EMUI 10 stable update to the first batch of smartphones which include the likes of Huawei P30, P30 Pro, Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 X (4G), Mate 20 RS Porsche Design, Nova 5T, Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro, Honor V20 and Honor Magic 2.
At current stage, there are more than 1 million Huawei and Honor smartphones running on EMUI 10. This number will continue to grow exponentially as Huawei expands thier EMUI 10 coverage to more devices in the coming months.
