Gionee has confirmed that it will be debuting 8 bezel-less smartphones on Nov. 26. Now that the launch event is drawing close, new Gionee phones are getting spotted on TENAA, the certification website from China. The rumored Gionee F6 phone has also appeared on TENAA to reveal its specs and appearance.
A smartphone labelled as Gionee F6L was spotted at the end of October month on TENAA. The specifications of the F6L and the newly spotted F6 phone are same. The Gionee F6 has an 18:9 aspect ratio display as it supports HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,440 pixels on its 5.7-inch display. The smartphone measures 153.8 x 72.6 x 7.8mm.
The Gionee F6 is driven by 1.4 GHz processor (probably Snapdragon 430 or 435) and it would be coming in 4 GB and 3 GB RAM variants. Both the models feature 32 GB of storage and they will also feature a microSD card slot. The rear side of the phone features 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera system while the front side features an 8-megapixel snapper. The handset is running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS and the company is likely to customize it with its Amigo OS proprietary skin. It will be coming in color options like blue, gold and black. It includes a 2,970mAh battery.
The only difference between F6 and F6L phones is that former model carry support for additional network bands. The Gionee F6 is expected to succeed the Gionee F5 that was unveiled at the beginning of this year.
