Google Pixel 6a is speculated to be announced at the upcoming Google I/O 2022 event. Ahead of the expected launch, the Pixel 6a has bagged certification from the FCC authority. The documents reveal that four model numbers, GX7AS, GB17L, G1AZG, and GB62Z, are associated with the Pixel 6a.
Among the above-mentioned model numbers, the GB62Z supports 5G mmWave 5G bands, whereas other models support sub-6 GHz 5G networks. The listing also reveals that the device carries support for other connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 6E and NFC. To recall, the Pixel 5a was seen at FCC in July 2021 and it went official in August. Hence, it is likely that its successor, which has now appeared in the FCC’s database, may go official in May at the Google I/O 2022 event.
