Over the past two weeks, there were plenty of chattering pertaining to the forthcoming Realme 9i which is expected to debut somewhere in January 2022. Ahead of it’s launch, the official renders of the phone had apparently made their way to the web courtesy of renowned leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer in collaboration with Indian publisher 91Mobiles.
Apparently, the new renders corroborate with the design that we saw from recent concept renderings published by Vietnamese publisher The Pixel. It reaffirmed the existence of a rectangular camera island which seemingly shares the same design as the Realme GT Neo2. Likewise, it also has three cameras at the back which is said to be lead by a 50 megapixels main camera.
Although the front design of the phone wasn’t revealed in the official renders, but previous leak suggested it’ll be flat panel that comes with a tiny hole-punch cutout on the upper-left corner of the screen to accommodate it’s selfie camera.
Coming to the rest of the specs, the Realme 9i is expected to feature an IPS LCD display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution topped with 90Hz refresh rate. Here, it might sounds a bit of a downgrade considering that the Realme 8i has a slightly faster refresh rate of 120Hz.
Under the hood, the phone is expected to adopt the latest Snapdragon 680 (4G) chipset which is likely to be accompanied by at least 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage in the memory department.
