Here’s the official render & specs of the upcoming ZTE a1 ZTG01 5G

Earlier this month, ZTE announced the company’s first 5G mid-ranger smartphone known as the ZTE Axon 11 5G in the Chinese market. However, it seems like the Axon 11 5G will soon be accompanied with another 5G mid-ranger smartphone which will be marketed as the ZTE a1 ZTG01.

This upcoming handset is already up for registration through Japanese mobile carrier au, and is expected to be released somewhere in July. Apparently, the official renders and specs of the device have also been listed on au’s website as well.

Just like the recently announced Axon 11 5G, the upcoming ZTE a1 ZTG01 will also be touting a squarish camera module on it’s rear panel that houses a quad-camera setup. It has been confirmed that it’s rear cameras will comprise of a 48 megapixels main shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 2 megapixels macro lens, as well as a ToF sensor.

Unlike the Axon 11 5G which has a LED flash placed directly below the camera module, the ZTE a1 ZTG01’s LED flash is placed on the right of the camera module. Moreover, we can also see a physical fingerprint sensor located on the back of the ZTE a1 ZTG01. This feature was absent on the Axon 11 5G as it utilized an in-display fingerprint sensor instead.

At the front, the ZTE a1 ZTG01 features a hole-punched display which measures approximately 6.5-inches diagonally, and has a screen resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels. It’s tiny hole-punched compartment is home to an impressive 32 megapixels selfie camera.

Under the hood, the ZTE a1 ZTG01 is driven by a Snapdragon 765 SoC coupled with 6GB worth of RAM and 128GB onboard storage space which is further expandable by up to 1TB via a microSDXC card. It will be able to support both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) 5G modes.

Last but not the least, the device will be fueled by a 4,000mAh battery and runs on the latest Android 10 OS.
