Honor will be announcing the Honor 30 and Honor 30 Pro flagship phones on April 15. Some reports have claimed that a more advanced dubbed as Honor 30 Pro+ also exists. A leaked poster of the Honor 30 Pro+ has surfaced on Weibo. It has revealed the pricing of the three variants of the smartphone.
As it can be seen in the poster, the Honor 30 Pro+ could be in arriving in three RAM and storage combinations. The base model with 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage could be priced at 4,999 Yuan ($708). The second model with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage may cost 5,399 Yuan ($765). The highest model with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage could be priced at 5,799 Yuan ($822).
The naming of the rumored Honor 30 series phones is similar to the Huawei P40 lineup that includes P40, P40 Pro and P40 Pro+. The latter it’s the company’s first smartphone with five rear cameras. Coming back to the Honor 30 Pro Plus poster leak, it reveals that its major features include Kirin 990 5G chipset, 50-megapixel Super-sensing camera and hyperboloid AMOLED display.
The poster further states that the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage editions will go on sale from April 21. The higher 12 GB RAM + 256 GB will be available for purchase from May.
Honor is yet to confirm the names of the Honor 30 series smartphones. It is speculated that the Honor 30 will be the companies first phone to feature the new Kirin 985 5G chipset. The Honor 30 Pro and 30 Pro Plus are likely to arrive with Kirin 990 5G. It is advisable to digest the pricing leak poster with a grain of salt as its authenticity could not be confirmed.
