The Honor 9X is powered by the Huawei’s 7nm Kirin 810 chipset. The SoC was first introduced on the Huawei Nova 5 smartphone that went official in the previous month. The Honor 9X that has a model number of HLK-AL00 was recently spotted on AnTuTu. Now the same model has appeared on Master Lu benchmarks to reveal some of its specs.
The Master Lu listing of the Honor 9X reveals that it is powered by Kirin 810 chipset and 6 GB of RAM. The handset features a display that supports full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. On Master Lu, the Honor 9X smartphone has scored 270,037 points. Its score is slightly lower than the Kirin 810 powered Huawei Nova 5 that scored 278,181. The above screenshot also shows that the scores of the Kirin 810 is a better performing SoC than the 8nm Snapdragon 730 that fuels the Redmi K20 smartphone.
Master Lu has claimed that since Nova 5 and Honor 9X haven’t sold yet, their actual benchmarking scores may fluctuate. The benchmarking platform had recently released the list of top performing chipsets in the first half of the year. It revealed that Snapdragon 855 led the list followed by Snapdragon 845, Kirin 890, Exynos 9810 and Exynos 8895. After sharing the benchmarking scores of Kirin 810, Master Lu stated its performance is next best after the Exynos 9810 chipset.
