How to root Doogee Ibiza F2 in less than an hour

How to root Doogee Ibiza F2The Doogee Ibiza F2 is a mid-range Android smartphone released by Chinese manufacturer Doogee back in February this year. The Doogee Ibiza F2 rocks a decent 5″ qHD display powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core chipset along with 1GB of RAM. Other key specs which come along with the device include a 8GB internal storage, microSD slot, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 2,500mAh battery as well as Android 4.4 KitKat running out of the box.

Like most other Android smartphones, we can root Doogee Ibiza F2 rather easily as well. In the following tutorial, I will be guiding you guys on how to root Doogee Ibiza F2 in less than an hour.

Prerequisites before you begin rooting Doogee Ibiza F2

  1. Download the Framaroot apk to your PC.
  2. Make sure you have downloaded and installed the required driver on your PC.
  3. Make sure there is at least 80% battery left on your smartphone before begin rooting your device.
  4. Go to Settings > Security > Make sure you have checked on the Unknown Sources checkbox.
  5. Back up the Doogee Ibiza F2 smartphone.

Follow the steps below on how to root Doogee Ibiza F2

  1. Connect the Doogee Ibiza F2 to your PC using an appropriate USB cable.
  2. Copy and paste the Framaroot apk from your PC over to the root of your device’s SD card.
  3. Open the file explorer app ( if you don’t have one on your device, then you may want to download either Astro File Manager / ES File Explorer ) and install the Framaroot apk by tapping on its icon.
  4. Open the Framaroot app on your Doogee Ibiza F2 smartphone.

  6. From the Select an exploit section, select the Sam exploit. ( You can try Frodo or Aragorn exploit if SAM doesn’t work ).
