How to root Lenovo Golden Warrior S8 Slim

The Lenovo Golden Warrior S8 Slim is the latest high-end Android smartphone released by Lenovo back in August this year. As its name implies, the device will come with a golden hue which sports a 5.3″ fHD display along with an incredible 8-cores MT6592 processor onboard alongside a 2GB RAM.

Like most other Lenovo smartphones, we can root Lenovo Golden Warrior S8 Slim using the Framaroot program as well. In the following tutorial, I will be guiding you guys on how to root Lenovo Golden Warrior S8 Slim in less than an hour.

Prerequisites before you begin rooting Lenovo Golden Warrior S8 Slim

  1. Download the Framaroot apk to your PC.
  2. Make sure you have downloaded and installed the necessary USB driver on your PC.
  3. Make sure there is at least 50% battery remaining on your device.
  4. Go to Settings > Security > Make sure you have checked on the Unknown Sources checkbox.
  5. Back up the Lenovo Golden Warrior S8 Slim.

Follow the steps below on how to root Lenovo Golden Warrior S8 Slim

  1. Connect the Lenovo Golden Warrior S8 Slim to your PC using an appropriate USB cable.
  2. Copy the Framaroot apk from your PC to your tablet’s SD card.
  3. Open the file explorer app ( if you don’t have one on your device, then you may want to download either Astro File Manager / ES File Explorer ) and install the Framaroot apk by tapping on its icon.
  4. Open the Framaroot app on your Lenovo Golden Warrior S8 Slim and you should be able to see a screen like the one below.
  5. select install Superuser in Framaroot to root Lenovo Golden Warrior S8 SlimFrom the Framaroot app, select the Install Superuser option under the Select an action to execute after root section as shown above.
  6. In the next section, choose the Boromir exploit to root Lenovo Golden Warrior S8 Slim.
  7. success pop up in FramarootYou should be able to see a pop-up like the one above once the program has rooted your tablet. The process normally takes less than a minute to complete.
  8. Finally, reboot your device immediately.
