The Tengda N9200 is a mid-range Android smartphone released by Chinese manufacturer Tengda back in March this year. The Tengda N9200 rocks a decent 5.5″ qHD display powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core chipset along with 2GB RAM. Other key specs which come along with the device include a 8GB internal storage, microSD slot, 5MP rear camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 2,000mAh battery as well as Android 5.0 running out of the box.

Prerequisites before you begin rooting Tengda N9200

1. Download the Framaroot apk to your PC.
2. Make sure you have downloaded and installed the required driver on your PC.
3. Make sure there is at least 80% battery left on your smartphone before begin rooting your device.
4. Go to Settings > Security > Make sure you have checked on the Unknown Sources checkbox.
5. Back up the Tengda N9200 smartphone.

Follow the steps below on how to root Tengda N9200

1. Connect the Tengda N9200 to your PC using an appropriate USB cable.
2. Copy and paste the Framaroot apk from your PC over to the root of your device’s SD card.
3. Open the file explorer app ( if you don’t have one on your device, then you may want to download either Astro File Manager / ES File Explorer ) and install the Framaroot apk by tapping on its icon.
4. Open the Framaroot app on your Tengda N9200 smartphone.
5. From the Framaroot app, select Install Superuser under the Select an action to execute after root section.
6. From the Select an exploit section, select the Sam exploit. ( You can try Frodo or Aragorn exploit if SAM doesn’t work ).
7. You should see a pop-up like the one above after you’re done.
8. Reboot your device.
9. Congratulation! You’ve just rooted Tengda N9200!
