The HCL ME U2 is another budget Android tablet manufactured by Indian company HCL. This tablet is just one of the 3 Android tablets in the ME series introduced this earlier this year. However before we begin, I would like to warn you that during the process of rooting, there is a risk of bricking your own device. So if you still want to proceed, you’ll be doing it at your own risk and we will hold no responsible for any form of damage on your device. Its a good practice for you to backup your device to an external source apart from your own SD Card.
Follow the steps below on how to root the HCL ME U2:
- Download the Unlock Root file to your desktop.
- Make sure you have enabled USB Debugging from your device’s settings.
- Connect the HCL ME U2 tablet to your PC.
- Run the Unlock Root program by double-clicking on its icon on your desktop.
- Once done, click on the Root button on the program itself.
- It will then begin rooting your tablet. This will take quite awhile.
- After its completed, reboot your tablet.
