Since the past week, the Huawei MatePad 10.4 is available for pre-orders on Vmall and JD.com retailers in China. Both listings had revealed that the company will be holding a launch event on April 23 to announce the device. Today, the Chinese firm took to Weibo to confirm the April 23 launch event for its next MatePad product.
Huawei will be announcing the Nova 7 series of smartphones on April 23. The lineup includes three devices namely, Nova 7 SE 5G, Nova 7 5G and Nova 7 Pro 5G. Today’s official confirmation from the company suggests that the company may use the same platform to announce the MatePad 10.4.
Huawei MatePad 10.4 Specifications
As the name goes, the MatePad 10.4 is equipped with a large-sized display of 10.4 inches. It supports 1200 x 2000 pixels resolution. The Kirin 810 chipset powers the device with up to 6 GB of RAM. The device offers up to 128 GB of storage. It is flanked Harmon Kardon powered speakers.
The MatePad 10.4 has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera and a rear-facing shooter of 8-megapixel. The tablet is packed with a big battery of 7,250mAh capacity. The thickness of the MatePad 10.4 is 9mm and it weighs 810 grams. The device supports M Pen stylus and keyboard connectivity.
The Huawei MatePad 10.4 is expected to arrive in two Wi-Fi only version such as 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. There will be an LTE version with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The pricing of these models is yet to be confirmed. The slate will be available in Fritillaria White color edition only.
