Huawei Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro Arriving in U.S. After Getting Displayed at CES 2018

Huawei had unveiled the Mate 10 series flagship phones in Germany in October. Since then, it has been available in China and European nations. Fresh information suggest that the Huawei will be displaying the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2018 that will be held next month.

According to a South Korean publication, the Chinese firm is in discussion with AT&T to bring Mate 10 phones in the U.S. Currently, it is testing the network standards of various carriers. It is also said to be intalks with Verizon which is the second largest carrier in the U.S. after AT&T. It is speculated that the Mate 10 phones will be available for buying through these carriers in the U.S. starting from January. As of this writing, there is no information available on the speculated pricing of the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro for the U.S.

The global shipments of Huawei phones have surpassed Apple in the summer. As of this writing, Huawei is not a popular name in the U.S., but making its phones available through the carriers will certainly only the Chinese to gain market share. Huawei phones are still available in the U.S. through third party retailers. Purchasing Huawei phones through them may not be feasible for all the smartphone buyers in the U.S.
