Huawei Mate 30 Pro Promotional Pamphlets Leaked

Yesterday, we reported on a set of Huawei Mate 30 Pro live images and an unofficial unboxing video of the device. Right now, we’re finally able to have a look at the device’s official promo materials which list out most of the Mate 30 Pro’s key specifications and features.

First and foremost, the device will come with a OLED display which has an incredible 88 degrees curvature along it’s two sides. It is also certified with IP68 rating, meaning it is water, liquid and dust resistance.

As expected, the Mate 30 Pro is driven by the company’s latest Kirin 990 SoC , manufactured by TSMC using the 7nm+ EUV process. Currently, the Kirin 990 is the “industry’s first 5G SoC” which has a built-in 5G modem. The Kirin 990 chip comprises of eight ARM Cortex CPU cores including two Cortex-A76 clocked at at 2.86GHz, two Cortex-A76 clocked at 2.34GHz, as well as four Cortex-A55 clocked at 1.9GHz. GPU-wise, there are 16 Mali-G76 GPU cores to handle various graphical intensive tasks.

Moving on to it’s camera, the circular camera housing on it’s rear panel comprises of a 40 megapixels main snapper, a 40 megapixels cine lens, an 8 megapixels telephoto lens, as well as a 3D ToF sensor. The device will also be able to record ultra slow-mo video at 7,680 frames per second, and could support up to 30x digital zoom.

As seen from the image above, the device was said to arrive with EMUI 10 out of the box. However, it is obvious that there isn’t any reference to the Android operating system. This isn’t anything surprising since Google had earlier confirmed that the Mate 30 series will not be arriving with Google Play services and apps due to the ongoing US trade ban.

Finally, the Mate 30 Pro will arrive with a massive 4,500mAh battery and supports 40W ultra-fast wired charging, and up to 27W ultra-fast wireless charging. Needless to say, the device will also come with the renowned wireless reverse charging which essentially turns your Mate 30 Pro into a charging pod for other devices.

For now, let’s wait and see if there are any other juicy leaks ahead of the official launch event tomorrow.
