During the official launch event of the Huawei Nova 7 series smartphones, the Chinese smartphone maker also took the opportunity to announce the brand new Huawei MatePad 10.4 tablet as well.
Unlike the Huawei MatePad Pro, the newly announced MatePad 10.4 comes with a more modest specs sheet and a slightly more affordable price point.
At the front, the MatePad 10.4 packs a 10.4-inches LCD display with a decent 2,000 x 1,200 pixels screen resolution. It comes with a mainstream tablet design with pretty huge bezels along its sides, and has a single 8 megapixels selfie camera affixed to its top bezel.
At the back, there is also a single 8 megapixels shooter housed within a pilled-shaped module. It will be assisted by a LED flash which is housed within the same module.
Under the hood, the Huawei MatePad 10.4 is driven by an octa-core Kirin 810 platform paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage space. As usual, it will also be able to carry support for M-pen as well as Bluetooth keyboard as well.
To keep its lights on, there is a gargantuan 7,250mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. For those who’re interested, the MatePad 10.4 will be available in two different colorways including Black and White.
In terms of pricing, its Wi-Fi model will be priced at 1,899 Yuan (US$269) and 2,199 Yuan (US$311) for its 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB models respectively.
As for its 4G model with 6GB+128GB memory configuration, it will be priced at 2,499 Yuan (US$354).
