Huawei MatePad debuts in Singapore with Kirin 820 & Wi-Fi 6

Huawei Singapore has officially announced the brand new Huawei MatePad tablet in the local market which will go on sale starting May 22nd at an attractive price of just S$498.

The new Huawei MatePad comes with several notable upgrades over last year’s model including a more powerful Kirin 820 chipset, as well as the next-generation’s 5G and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity.

To provide an immersive viewing experience, the Huawei MatePad arrives with a huge 10.4” display that offers a sharp 2000 x 1200 pixels screen resolution alongside an impressive 470 nits peak brightness.

Similarly, there’s also a quad-speaker system tuned by audiophile specialist Harmon Kardon. For video conferencing, the Huawei MatePad has a total of four microphones to pick up audio, as well as an 8 megapixels selfie camera upfront.

Under the hood, it comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage which can be further expanded by up to 512GB via a microSD card. The Huawei MatePad is also fitted with a massive 7,250mAh battery which carries support for 22.5W fasr-charging.

For those who’re interested, the Huawei MatePad can be purchased through all HUAWEI Experience Stores, selected consumer electronic stores including Best Denki, Challenger & Hachi.tech, COURTS, Harvey Norman, Sprint Cass and Huawei official online stores in Lazada and Shopee.

From May 22nd to June 6th, customers will receive a gift bundle worth up to $180 with every purchase of the new HUAWEI MatePad, while stocks last. The gift bundle includes a HUAWEI Smart Keyboard, 50GB Cloud Storage for the first 3 months for new subscribers.
