Huawei Nova 7 Series Officially Confirmed to Debut on April 23

Leaked information that had surfaced last week had claimed Huawei will be launching the new Nova 7 series of smartphones on April 23. However, there was no confirmation from the company. Some had speculated that the Chinese firm will confirm on its launch date after the unveil of Honor 30 series. Its sub-brand announced Honor 30, Honor 30 Pro and Honor 30 Pro+ phones yesterday and today, the parent firm has confirmed that the Nova 7 phones will break cover on April 23.

The above shown poster confirms the April 23 launch event date for the Huawei Nova 7 series. It has teased the rear camera design of the smartphone. It sports a slimmer rectangular camera housing which can accommodate as many as four cameras in it.

Past reports have revealed that the Huawei Nova 7 series will include three devices such as Nova 7, Nova 7 SE and Nova 7 Pro. All three smartphones are going to carry support for 5G connectivity.

A leaked poster that had surfaced yesterday on Weibo had revealed that the Huawei Nova 7 smartphone is equipped with a vertically stacked quad camera system on its back. The setup also includes a periscope lens which will bring for support of up to 50x zoom.

The Huawei Nova 7 smartphone is driven by the Kirin 985 5G chipset. Its front is decked with a display that curves towards its left and right edges. At the top-left corner of the Nova 7’s display is a pill-shaped cutout for dual selfie snappers. It will come in red, blue and gradient white colors. The Nova 7 series of smartphones are rumored to be priced between 2,000 Yuan ($282) and 4,000 Yuan ($565).
