The Huawei Nova 7 smartphone is scheduled to go official on April 23. The Nova 7 belongs to a series that reportedly includes other handsets such as Nova 7 SE and Nova 7 Pro. All the Nova 7 phones are expected to arrive as 5G-ready phones. Today, the Chinese firm released an official teaser on Weibo to showcase the curved display of the smartphone.
As it can be seen from the screengrabs of the Nova 7’s first video teaser, it features a curved display. There is a pill-shaped punch-hole placed at the top-left corner of the screen. Except for the slightly thick chin, the other three bezels are quite thin.
The handset features a USB-C port and an external speaker on its bottom edge. The video does not clearly reveal whether the phone features a 3.5mm audio jack. A silhouette of the rear side of the Nova 7 shows that it has a vertical camera setup at the upper left corner.
A leaked poster of the Huawei Nova 7 that appeared recently revealed that its rear camera setup has four lenses and one of them is a periscope zoom sensor. The handset will possibly allow users to capture images with up to 50x digital zoom.
The Huawei Nova 7 could be fueled by the Kirin 985 chipset. The handset is expected to arrive in the market in color editions such as red, purple and gradient white color.
It is speculated that the Kirin 820 5G chipset will power the Huawei Nova 7 SE smartphone. The Nova 7 Pro may draw power from Kirin 990 5G chipset. The Nova 7 series is expected to be priced between 2,000 Yuan and 4,000 Yuan in China.
