Huawei P30 Lite to Feature Waterdrop Notch Screen and Kirin 710

Recently, a Huawei model with MAR-LX1M model was certified by Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). Its Chinese variant MAR-AL00 was recently approved by China’s 3C authority. It is speculated that the smartphone could be releasing as the Huawei P30 Lite in China whereas the same phone could be heading to Europe as Huawei Nova 4e.

The 3C certification of the MAR-AL00 handset revealed that the charger that will come along with will support up to 18W rapid charging. A Chinese publication has shared an image of the case of the P30 Lite smartphone which shows the presence of the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The cutout for the camera suggests that it could be equipped with three camera sensors such as 20-megapixel, 16-megapaixel and 2-megapixel. Rumors have it that the P30 and P30 Pro flagship smartphones will be equipped with in-display fingerprint scanner.

Shown below is the leaked image of the display panels of the P30 series. The images show that the screens size of the P30 Lite will be almost same as that of the P30 flagship phone. Since the P30 is expected to arrive with 6-inch screen, the P30 Lite may feature a same-sized display. The Kirin 710 chipset may power the P30 Lite along with 6 GB of RAM. The Chinese manufacturer may debut the P30 Lite ahead of P30 and P30 Pro. Hence, there is a possibility that P30 Lite may go official by late February or early March while the P30 and P30 Pro may go official by the end of March.
