Like other leading smartphone brands, iQOO is also expected to unveil its next-generation flagship phones in the last quarter of this year. While the rumour mill has been consistently leaking details about it, there has been confusion about whether it will be called the iQOO 14 or iQOO 15. Today, the brand officially confirmed that the device will be called the iQOO 15.
iQOO 15 name confirmed

The above poster confirms that iQOO will be present at the upcoming ChinaJoy tech event in China. The brand will be present at the event and will host a new “Honor of Kings” gaming tournament. It also revealed that the winning team members will receive the iQOO 15 when it debuts later this year.
While the brand has confirmed the existence of the iQOO 15, it did not reveal anything about it. However, reports say that the lineup will include two models, namely the iQOO 15 and 15 Ultra. Both smartphones are expected to feature the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset.
There have been reports that the iQOO 15 and 15 Ultra will feature a 6.85-inch OLED LTPO panel that supports a 2K resolution and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. Both phones are also said to feature three 50-megapixel cameras on the back, and one of them is said to be a mid-tier 3x periscope telephoto camera.
The series is expected to draw power from a battery of around 7,000mAh capacity with wireless charging support. It is expected to run on OriginOS 6-based Android 16. The Ultra model is likely to differentiate itself from the standard model by offering features like a built-in cooling fan and gaming trigger buttons.
