iQOO is reportedly working on the iQOO 15 series of smartphones for the Chinese market. In a new Weibo post, a reliable tipster has seemingly shared key details about the iQOO 15 series of smartphones.
iQOO 15 series display

According to DCS, the upcoming iQOO 15 series will feature a high-end display with advanced specifications. It will be equipped with a 6.85-inch (approximately) 2K LTPO panel, which offers variable refresh rate support for power efficiency. The display is reportedly custom-made by Samsung and sports ultra-slim bezels on all four sides, creating a flat and immersive visual experience.
The tipster added that the iQOO 15 will adopt Pol-less polariser-free technology to improve brightness and efficiency, along with an anti-reflective (AR) coating to reduce glare. The leak further claims that this is currently the most expensive screen in terms of BOM (bill of materials) cost among the brand’s sub-series flagships.
Reports have revealed that the iQOO 15 and 15 Ultra will both feature a 6.85-inch screen. Hence, it is likely both phones may come equipped with the same display panel. Under the hood, the series will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, which is expected to launch in September of this year.
The entire lineup is expected to come with common features, such as an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner, a metal middle frame, and an IP68/69 rating. The lineup may also include a battery of around 7,000mAh capacity with 100W charging. The Ultra edition is expected to come with additional features, such as a periscope camera and wireless charging support, an active cooling fan, and gaming shoulder triggers.
