iQOO Neo3 Reservations Begin, Sale on April 29

iQOO will be launching the iQOO Neo3 flagship phone on April 23 in China. After the iQOO 3 5G that debuted in February, it will be the second phone from the brand with Snapdragon 865 chipset. Ahead of the launch, the Chinese firm has started with the reservations of the smartphone.

The reservations page of the iQOO Neo3 has no new information on its specifications. However, it reveals that the sales of the Neo3 will kick off from April 29 in the home market. The smartphone received 84,695 reservations at the time of writing post. As the company has already revealed, the major features of the iQOO Neo3 include SD865, 144Hz refresh rate supporting display and UFS 3.1 storage.

All the iQOO phones that have launched so far are equipped with AMOLED displays. Last year’s iQOO phones were equipped with waterdrop notch display design.

The iQOO 3 5G arrived as the first punch-hole display phone from the company. It features an AMOLED display with an in-screen fingerprint reader. The upcoming iQOO Neo3 is expected to arrive with an LCD screen with punch-hole design. It may either feature a rear-facing fingerprint sensor or a side-mounted fingerprint reader.

The iQOO Neo3 that has a model number of V1981A is expected to arrive with a 48-megapixel quad camera setup, 6 GB of RAM, internal storage of 128 GB and Android 10 OS with FunTouch OS 10 UI.  It may house a 4,500mAh battery that could be accompanied by 44W fast charging technology. The handset may arrive in China with a starting cost of 2,998 Yuan ($425).
