[Update] iQOO Neo5 to Support 66W Fast Charging

Update: Another poster (added below) released by iQOO confirms the presence of a 4,400mAh battery inside the iQOO Neo5.

The iQOO Neo5 smartphone is scheduled to go official in China on March 16. Yesterday, iQOO confirmed that the smartphone will be featuring the Snapdragon 870. Today, it revealed the fast charging capabilities of the smartphone. 

Past reports have revealed that the model number of the iQOO Neo5 is V2055A. Last month, the handset was spotted at the 3C certification platform with a 66W fast charger. Also, a leaked shot of the retail box of the device with a 66W rapid charger was spotted last month.

Today, iQOO revealed that the upcoming iQOO Neo5 will arrive with support for 66W fast charging. The Chinese text on the poster suggests that it takes only 30 minutes to completely charge the handset. iQOO is yet to reveal the battery size of the Neo5. A new poster confirms that it will be housing a 4,400mAh battery.

iQOO Neo5 Specifications (Rumored)

Recent reports have claimed that the iQOO Neo5 will be sporting a 6.61-inch OLED screen with a top-centered hole punch. The screen will offer a Full HD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It will support a 120Hz refresh rate. The Neo5 is equipped with an independent display chip that will make it possible to offer smoother performance and consume less power.  

The Snapdragon 870 chipset will be accompanied by 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM. It may come with up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It could be sporting a front camera of 16-megapixel. The rear shell of the device is expected to feature a triple camera system comprising of an OIS-ready Sony IMX589 48-megapixel lens as the primary camera, a 13-megapixel ultrawide snapper, and a 2-megapixel lens. The reservations of the Neo5 are now in progress in China.
