After announcing the Lenovo Z5s smartphone today in China, Lenovo also unleashed the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT as the world’s first Snapdragon 855 powered smartphone. It is also the world’s smartphone with 12 GB of RAM. The handset will be available in January 2019.
Lenovo Z5 Pro GT Specifications and Features
The Lenovo Z5 Pro featuring a slider design and Snapdragon 710 chipset was unveiled in the previous month. Today, the Chinese manufacturer has introduced the enhanced version of the same phone by packing new chipset, higher RAM and more amount of storage.
The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT has a sports car like appeal since it features a carbon fiber rear coating on the rear glass and a red-colored frame. The handset is now leading the AnTuTu benchmarks list with 368,480. The 7nm Snapdragon 855 chipset and 12 GB of RAM has allowed the smartphone to reach such a high benchmarking score on AnTuTu. The 12 GB RAM variant of the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT is fitted with 512 GB of internal storage.
The rest of the specs of the phone is same as the regular edition of the Lenovo Z5 Pro. It is equipped with a 6.39-inch AMOLED screen with full HD+ resolution, Android 9.0 Pie OS, 16-megapixel + 8-megpixel dual selfie snappers, 24-mgegapixel + 16-megapixel dual rear cameras and 3,350mAh battery.
Lenovo Z5 Pro GT Pricing and Availability
The 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage variants of the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT are respectively priced at 2,698 Yuan ($391), 2,998 Yuan ($435), 3998 Yuan ($579) and 4,398 Yuan ($638). On Jan. 1, Lenovo will start the pre-orders of the smartphone followed by the market release on Jan. 24.
